According to the California Highway Patrol, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Palmdale on Tuesday. The officials stated that a four-by-four Ford Excursion, another smaller vehicle, and an unknown person were involved in the collision.
The driver of the Ford had been asleep and woke up to the sound of a man sawing off her vehicle’s catalytic converter. According to the reports, she ran something over and found an unknown man below her vehicle.
The unknown man suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Palmdale Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
Three unknown people who accompanied the deceased man in the smaller vehicle were arrested. Their identities have not been disclosed.
