According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, a man was killed in a hit-and-run accident that occurred in Moreno Valley on Tuesday. The accident occurred at around 6:00 p.m.
A man was walking southbound at the intersection of the Old Interstate 215 Frontage Road and Bay Avenue. He was struck by a vehicle. He was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle that struck the man escaped the scene.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated.
