1 Person Killed In A Hit And Run Accident In Huntington Beach (Huntington Beach, CA)

The Huntington Beach Police Department reported a series of hit and run accidents that occurred on Thursday and confirmed that one person died. 

The sequence of events unfolded when a bicyclist reported being intentionally sideswiped by a driver at Brad Drive and Edwards Street around 10:30 p.m. While officers attended to this collision, another call came in about a bicyclist at Heil and Springdale, who tragically succumbed to their injuries. A third victim reported being hit by a hit-and-run vehicle while biking at Warner Avenue and Edwards Street around 10 p.m., also sustaining minor injuries. Police suspect all incidents are connected and urge witnesses to come forward. 

The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It remains uncertain whether alcohol or drugs were contributing factors in the collision.
