According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Houston on Saturday. The crash happened in the northbound lanes of the freeway, just before Telephone Road at around 11:45 p.m.
According to the investigators, an unknown pedestrian and an unknown vehicle were involved in the collision. The unknown pedestrian was walking back and forth on the freeway and was struck by the unknown vehicle.
The officials stated that the unknown pedestrian suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Houston Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated at this time. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
