The Los Angeles Police Department reported a hit-and-run accident in Hollywood on Friday. The accident occurred at Lankershim Boulevard and Arminta Street at around 1:50 a.m.
According to the officials, a man and a dark-coloured sedan were involved in a collision. The sedan had struck the man before fleeing the scene.
The victim was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated by the authorities. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
