According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a man was killed in a hit-and-accident in North Hollywood on Sunday. Roughly at 4:12 a.m., near Lankershim Boulevard, south of Valerio Street, a hit-and-run accident occurred.
A man was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle that struck the man left the scene immediately. The number of vehicles involved in the accident is unknown.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
