According to the California Highway Patrol, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Culver City on Sunday. The crash happened on Venice Boulevard, just east of Robertson Boulevard at around 1:15 p.m.
According to the investigators, an unknown pedestrian and an unknown vehicle were involved in the collision.
The officials stated that the unknown pedestrian suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Culver City Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
Some portions of Venice Boulevard, just east of Robertson Boulevard are blocked for further investigation. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
