According to the Nevada State Police, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Carson City on Thursday evening.
The crash happened near Stewart and Little Lane at around 6:30 p.m.
The officials stated that the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
According to Sheriff Ken Furlong, the victim suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene following the scene.
Some portions of the Stewart and Little Lane are blocked for further investigation.
The identity of the deceased pedestrian was not revealed by the Nevada State Police.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
