1 Person Killed In A Hit-And-Run Accident In Austin (Austin, TX)

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Austin on Tuesday. The crash happened in the 9500 block of North Lamar Boulevard with Rutland Drive at around 8:20 p.m.

According to the investigators, an unknown man and an unknown person were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident have not been reported at this time. 

The officials stated that the unknown person suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Austin Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person. 

Some portions of the 9500 block of North Lamar Boulevard with Rutland Drive are blocked for further investigation. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
