In Anaheim, a hit-and-run accident driver is being sought by police after two crashes resulted in the death of a woman and injuries to three others. The first collision occurred near Disneyland at Harbour Boulevard and Katella Avenue around 5 p.m. on Friday.
The driver struck three pedestrians and fled the scene. The second fatal crash happened at Harbour Boulevard and Convention Way, where the same driver hit another woman. The second woman was critically injured and was taken to the hospital. However, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.
The suspect, driving a tan or gold Toyota sedan, possibly a Corolla or Camry, failed to stop and provide aid after both incidents. The police are actively searching for the perpetrator.
