1 Person Killed In A Fiery Motor Vehicle Crash In College Station (College Station, TX)

Authorities responded to a fiery motor vehicle crash on Highway 6 near the Academy Store in College Station. 

Police said the Texas A&M University students were passengers in Santa’s Wonderland shuttle bus when an SUV struck it. The crash happened on Sunday, just after midnight. 

Both vehicles caught fire following the collision. The SUV driver was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The SUV passenger and the shuttle bus driver were extracted by police officers and bystanders. 

The crash reports suggest that the SUV driver was traveling southbound on the highway when he crossed several lanes and hit the northbound bus. The cause of the crash is yet to be determined.

No further details regarding the crash are currently available. 

The crash is being investigated.
