1 Person Killed In A Fatal Pedestrian Crash In Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ)

According to the Phoenix Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Thursday morning in Phoenix.

Officials confirmed that one person died due to the pedestrian accident that took place near the intersection of 23rd and Peoria avenues.

Reports indicate that a pedestrian, as yet unidentified, was struck by a vehicle and succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The driver involved in the accident remained at the site, cooperating with law enforcement.

The incident prompted the closure of traffic in all directions at the intersection, impacting the Thursday morning commute. 

As of now, the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is actively ongoing. No further details are available at this time.
