1 Person Killed In A Fatal Pedestrian Crash In Austin (Austin, TX)

According to the Austin Police Department, a fatal crash was reported in Austin. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the pedestrian accident. Authorities stated that the collision occurred at the intersection of Capital of Texas Highway and Mopac.

The driver of a vehicle struck a pedestrian, which thereby resulted in causing the wreck.

CPR was performed on the pedestrian, but he was later pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time. 

Other details pertaining to the collision remain unknown. It is not clear if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. The crash continues to be investigated by the APD.
