According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Saturday morning in Vallejo. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred east of Highway 37. A black Toyota Tundra lost control and overturned. It subsequently struck a concrete divider.
The driver of the vehicle was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time.
Alcohol is believed to have caused the collision. The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP. There are no other details available at this time.
