According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a fatal crash was reported in Tyler on Tuesday a little after 5 PM.
Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
The collision reportedly occurred on 7 Hill Road and County Road 381, and involved two vehicles that struck one another.
As a result of this, one person was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
The identity of the deceased person is yet to be determined.
Other insights pertaining to the accident are pending release.
The crash continues to be investigated by the DPS authorities.
