According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a fatal crash was reported on Friday in Tempe. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred in the eastbound lanes of the Red Mountain Freeway near Mill Avenue. A car struck a camper trailer. As a result of this, both vehicles were engulfed in flames.
One person was pronounced dead due to the accident. Insights pertaining to the identity of the deceased person remain unknown.
Other details regarding the accident are yet to be released. The events leading up to the collision are not entirely clear at this time. The crash continues to be investigated by the APD.
