According to the El Paso Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Tuesday morning in Socorro. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on Carl Longuemare and Plaza Creek in the Lower Valley. Insights into how the wreck occurred are yet to be determined.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision. The identity of the victim is not yet known at this time.
Other information including the description of the vehicles involved remains unknown. The cause of the wreck is pending identification. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
