According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Wednesday in San Joaquin County. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on southbound Highway 99, north of Jack Tone Road. A Chevy Tahoe overturned on the roadway.
As a result of this, the sole occupant of the car was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time.
Other insights pertaining to the accident remain unknown. The cause of the collision is pending determination. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP.
