According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Wednesday in Pomona. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on the westbound freeway and Fairplex Drive. A blue car was overturned.
As a result of this, two children, a 5-year-old and a 3-year-old sustained injuries due to the wreck. A woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the woman has not been disclosed at this time.
Other insights pertaining to the accident are yet to be determined. The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
