According to the Nacogdoches Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Friday afternoon in Nacogdoches.
Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred just north of Corrigan. The mode of the accident has not been revealed yet. Other details including the description of the vehicles involved remain unknown.
The deceased Stephen F. Austin University student was identified as Graylan Spring. Spring was taken to Conroe Regional Medical Center in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries.
The cause of the wreck is yet to be determined. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. The crash continues to be investigated by the NPD.
