According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Saturday morning in Concord. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred near Interstate 680 and SR-242 split. A white Ford F-150 struck a giant metal column.
The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. Other insights including the identity of the deceased person remain unknown.
