According to the Bakersfield Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Wednesday night. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred near the 400 block of Willow Drive, at Riverview Park near Golden State Avenue. The driver of an ATV struck the three-wheeler into a guardrail.
As a result of this, the driver of the ATV was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. Information regarding the identity of the driver is yet to be determined.
It remains unclear whether alcohol or drugs were involved in the collision. The crash continues to be investigated by the BPD. There are no other details available at this time.
