Georgia State Patrol reported a high-speed chase that resulted in a fatal crash in Fulton County.
According to the troopers, a driver in a Ford Fusion was driving at a high speed near I-285 and failed to use a turn signal. When the troopers tried to stop the vehicle, the driver refused and fled.
The driver exited State Route 166. The vehicle traveled off the road, struck an embankment, and flipped over.
The driver sustained fatal injuries from the crash.
The crash is being investigated by the GSP. No further details regarding the crash are currently available.
