According to the Dougherty County Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Tuesday night in Albany.
Officials confirmed that 1 person died due to the multi-vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on Liberty Expressway/Nelms Road near Putney.
A vehicle failed to stop, hitting a vehicle and cursing that vehicle to collide with another. .
The driver of the first vehicle that caused the crash was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Further details including the cause of the wreck, the identity of the victim have not yet been revealed.
The crash remains under investigation by the DCPD.
