The San Antonio Police Department reported a bicycle accident on Thursday. The accident occurred at the intersection of Castroville Road and South General McMullen at around 9:30 p.m.
According to the officials, a man was riding a bicycle when he was hit by the side mirror of a truck. This caused the man to fall off the bike. Another vehicle behind the truck ran over the man and dragged his body all the way to a nearby gas station.
The man incurred fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim has not been disclosed at this time. The drivers of both vehicles remained at the scene and cooperated.
The authorities are still investigating the fatal crash. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
