One person was killed following a wreck Sunday afternoon on 15 Freeway and Miramar Way.
As per the initial information, the multi-vehicle accident took place on Miramar Way and 15 Freeway at about 5:10 p.m. One person was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The events that have led up to the wreck remain unknown at this time.
It is also unclear if the crash caused any other injuries. All northbound lanes of the freeway were shut down during the investigation. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified.
An investigation is ongoing.
