1 person killed, another in critical condition after a two-vehicle crash in Apple Valley (Apple Valley, CA)

On Thursday, one person died while another suffered injuries following a traffic collision in Apple Valley.

As per the initial information, the fatal two-vehicle crash was reported at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Highway 18. The early reports showed that a black four-door Sedan and a dark-gray van were involved in the accident.

One person suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. Another victim received critical injuries as a result of the collision. The eastbound lanes of the freeway were shut down as crews worked at the scene. No other details are immediately available.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
