1 person killed, another hospitalized after a traffic collision in north Houston (Houston, TX)

One person was killed and another received injuries after a traffic collision in north Houston.

As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the 7000 block of West Greens after getting reports of a two-vehicle accident at about 1 p.m. According to the officials, one person died as a result of the wreck while another was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.

The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. Drivers were asked to expect delays and find alternate routes. The identities of the victims have not been released. No other details are available.

The collision remains under investigation.
