One person was killed and another received critical injuries following a crash in Irwindale. The incident also closed down parts of the Arrow Highway between Azusa Canyon Road and Lante Street.
As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the scene after getting reports of a single-vehicle accident at about 4:30 p.m. The early reports showed that a vehicle slammed into a pole, causing electrical wires to fall.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene while another was hospitalized in critical condition. It is unknown when the highway will reopen and officials ask motorists to find an alternate route. No other details are available.
