1 Person Killed And 4 Others Injured In A Fatal Crash In Antelope (Antelope, CA)

According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Thursday morning in Antelope.

Officials confirmed that one person was killed and four others were injured due to the accident.

Authorities stated that the collision occurred on Elverta Road, on Watt Avenue.

A Mazda traveling southbound collided with the right side of a Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office vehicle.

The driver of the Mazda, identified as a 19-year-old man, was ejected from the vehicle.

He was rushed to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Three other passengers in the Mazda were hospitalized to treat their injuries. 

The deputy in the police vehicle was hospitalized with minor injuries.

Drugs and alcohol are not suspected to be factors that led to the wreck.

The crash remains under investigation by the CHP.
