According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Sunday in Fairfield.
Officials confirmed that one person was killed and 3 people were injured due to the multi-vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred eastbound on Interstate 80 and Pittman Road in Solano County.
A white Tesla sedan was traveling when it overturned and landed back on its tires.
Two other vehicles were also hit because the sedan lost control.
One person present at the scene of the wreck was pronounced dead.
Three others at the spot were transported to the hospital for the treatment of their injuries.
The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP.
