The Antioch Police Department reported a two-vehicle accident on Friday. The accident occurred at the Lone Tree Way and State Route 4 intersection.
According to the officials, a truck was heading south towards East Tregallas Road and the other was leaving Highway 4 and turning north towards A Street. The two trucks collided with each other.
The driver of one truck had incurred fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. He had two passengers who were reported to have been rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. Their identities have not been disclosed at this time.
The people in the other truck were not injured in the collision.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. There are no other details available at this time.
