According to the San Bernardino Fire Department, a fatal crash was reported on Tuesday night in San Bernardino.
Officials confirmed that one person died and eleven others were injured in the accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred near mile marker 126, south of Baker.
A bus crashed in the area and injured a dozen people.
Several ground ambulances transported those who were moderately injured to the hospital.
Four helicopters responded to the wreck and helped transport those who sustained serious injuries.
Other details including the identities of the victims and the cause of the accident remain unknown.
The crash is being investigated by the California Highway Patrol.
It is not yet known if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
