According to the Anaheim Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Thursday in Anaheim.
Officials confirmed that one person died and ten others were injured in the multi-vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred at the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and Ball Road.
An SUV speeding southbound failed to stop at a red light.
The SUV collided with a sedan and set off a chain reaction with six other vehicles.
The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
The driver of the SUV was identified as a 36-year-old woman.
She was arrested on the grounds of DUI.
The cause of the accident is believed to be intoxication.
The crash remains under investigation by the APD.
