According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Sunday night in Hawthorne.
Officials confirmed that one person died and one person was injured due to the pedestrian accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred near the intersection of El Segundo Boulevard and Truro Avenue.
A boy, a girl, and a man were crossing the street when they were struck by a vehicle. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The man was hospitalized sustaining injuries.
The identities of the victims have not been disclosed by the authorities.
