Austin-Travis County EMS reported on social media that a fatal collision involving an 18-wheeler and a vehicle occurred southeast of Austin in Travis County on Monday. 

At approximately 4 p.m., medics responded to a confirmed crash report, where a vehicle was trapped under an 18-wheeler near the U.S. Highway 183 and Evelyn Road. The victim was reported unconscious at the time.

The adult, who was not identified, was removed, and medics performed CPR. despite their best efforts, the adult victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

As of now, the circumstances leading to this tragic collision remain undisclosed. Authorities have not provided any details regarding the causes of the incident, and there is no indication of any substances being involved.
