1 person killed after an auto-pedestrian collision on Palmdale Road (Victorville, CA)

On Thursday evening, a pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle on Palmdale Road.

As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place at around 5:57 p.m. on Palmdale Road, west of Cantina Drive. This is across from the Victorville Village strip mall. The early reports revealed that a vehicle struck a male pedestrian for undetermined reasons.

The pedestrian suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The driver of a black 2013 Lexus Sedan who hit the man stayed at the crash scene. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
