On Monday morning, one person died after being hit by a vehicle in east Austin.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place on Blue Bluff Road between Esquire Acres Lane and Decker Lake Road before 7 a.m. The early reports showed that a vehicle struck one person for reasons that are yet to be known.
The pedestrian died of their injuries after the collision. At this time, it is unknown if the victim died at the scene or after being taken to the hospital. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No other details are immediately available.
