On Friday morning, one person died following a rollover crash in Sahuarita.
As per the initial information, the fatal single-vehicle accident took place on El Toro Road, east of Interstate 19 at about 9 a.m. Authorities confirmed that one person was killed as a result of the crash; however, it is unknown if the victim died at the scene or at a hospital.
The events that have led up to the accident remain unclear at this time. El Toro/Twin Buttes was shut down from Camino De Las Quintas and La Villita Road as crews worked at the scene. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
