On Thursday night, one person died following a head-on crash in Shreveport.
As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place on E. Kings Highway shortly after 7:00 p.m. The preliminary investigation indicated that an SUV was heading south on E. Kings Highway when it crashed head-on into a Sedan that was going northbound. The driver of the Sedan suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials.
There is no information available about the condition of the other driver. A section of E. Kings Highway from E. Bert Kouns Industrial Loop to University Place was shut down as crews worked at the scene. No further details were provided.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
