The Los Angeles Police Department reported a three-vehicle crash on Saturday.
The accident occurred in the area of Corbin Avenue and Roscoe Boulevard at around 7:46 p.m.
According to the officials, two cars and an SUV had collided. The SUV had flipped onto its roof due to the force of the impact.
One person was killed and six others were injured in the crash. The identities of those involved have not been disclosed by the authorities.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
The officials have revealed that they suspect driving under the influence to be the cause of the fatal accident.
