The Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office responded to a deadly multi-vehicle crash in Northern Michigan. A vehicle rear-ended another vehicle and then slammed into an oncoming vehicle, resulting in the collision.
A 44-year-old man from Ironwood died in the crash, and the 23-year-old man from Lake Ann was transferred to a hospital with deadly injuries. Two others from the third vehicle sustained minor injuries.
The vehicle driven by the Lake Ann man rear-ended another driven by a 46-year-old Traverse city woman that rolled over and caused injuries, the police said.
Later, the vehicle driven by the Lake Ann man struck an oncoming westbound vehicle. The 23-year-old Lake Ann man was transported to Munson Medical Centre.
The investigation is ongoing.
