According to the San Antonio Police, a motor vehicle crash was reported on Sunday.
Officials confirmed that one person was killed and one person was injured due to the fatal accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10, near Hackberry.
A man was driving a GMC Yukon in a careless manner and he lost control of the vehicle causing the vehicle to flip over.
He landed in the main lanes of the highway and was hit by a passing white Toyota Camry.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
His passenger was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The other details pertaining to the crash have not yet been released by the San Antonio Police.
The fatal crash remains under investigation.
