Official reports state that a Saturday afternoon crash halted traffic near the North Valleys area of Reno for hours.
An overturned truck, driven by an adult woman was involved in the motor vehicle incident. Nevada State Police suspect the driver was impaired, and added that she is also a suspect in a hit and run in Reno.
The adult woman driver is assumed to have sustained some injuries, and once medically cleared, police expect to book her into jail. It is uncertain thus far exactly which charges she will end up facing.
The extent of the medical injuries sustained by the driver have not been disclosed. Further to this, how exactly the incident unfolded is unknown.
