1 Person Injured In Motor Vehicle Accident In Suwanee (Suwanee, GA)

The Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident in Suwanee on Monday.

The crash happened at the intersection of McGinnis Ferry Road and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard at around 4:45 p.m. 

A crash involved a tractor-trailer carrying liquid nitrogen, officials said. 

According to Suwanee Police Spokesman Capt. Robert Thompson, a truck and a passenger car collided. 

A woman in the passenger car was injured in the crash.

According to Thompson, no leaks were reported, and hazardous material specialists from the Gwinnett County Fire Department responded to the scene.

For about two hours, the westbound lanes of McGinnis Ferry Road were closed while police and the hazmat crew worked to move the damaged truck.

Additional information regarding the crash was not provided by the officials.
