According to the Temple Police Department, a multi-vehicle crash was reported on Thursday evening. Officials confirmed that one person was injured due to the accident. Authorities stated that the collision occurred from I-35 and S. General Bruce Drive.

A driver who was driving recklessly struck multiple vehicles on the interstate. Although multiple vehicles were hit, most of the drivers were not injured as a result of the accident. One person sustained “non-life-threatening injuries” due to the accident. Other details including the identity of the injured person or the descriptions of the vehicles involved have not been determined yet.

The cause of the wreck remains unknown. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. 

The crash continues to be investigated by the TPD.
