According to the Texas Police Department, a multi vehicle crash was reported on Monday afternoon in San Angelo.
Officials confirmed that one person was seriously injured due to the accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred at the intersection of South Jackson St. and University Dr.
A blue Ford Expedition was traveling east and the breaks of a truck failed and it thereby slid into the intersection.
The Expedition collided with a blue Dodge Ram pickup.
This collision resulted in the pickup hitting a Chevrolet Trailblazer that was stopped at one of the intersection’s stop signs.
The driver of the Trailblazer sustained injuries and was immediately taken to Shannon.
Other details pertaining to the crash have not yet been revealed.
The three-vehicle crash remains under investigation.
