The Police department reported a motor vehicle crash in Spring Hill.
The accident happened Saturday morning.
An injured Texas man, age 24, was lying in a ditch at the bottom of a steep embankment.
Officers noticed the man’s almost completely severed left arm right away.
As soon as they got the man to the road, the officers applied a tourniquet to the victim’s arm.
The name and identity of the victim have not been released.
It is unsure what caused the crash and how it happened.
Whether drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be found.
The crash is being investigated by the police.
