The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in northeast Nashville early Friday morning.
The accident happened on Grace St and Dickerson Pike in front of Citgo gas station at around 2:45 a.m.
One person was injured in the head-on-collision and was taken to the hospital.
The extent of the injuries are unknown.
The identity of the victim was not released by the deputies.
The crash is being investigated by the police.
For the duration of the inquiry and to enable crews to clear the road of debris, Dickerson Pike was blocked.
