The Memphis Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Thursday morning.
According to police, the driver shifted into gear before ramming into a patrol car and another parked car in the parking lot.
When police gave chase, a vehicle belonging to a different officer was struck near East Shelby Drive and Louis Carruthers Drive.
That police officer was transported to the hospital in nonsevere condition.
Three people were detained by police at the scene, but it’s unknown whether or not they will be charged.
The identities of those involved have not been disclosed.
The crash is being investigated by the police.
